I didn't count pulls, but based on how many times I had to buy stacks of certain consumables, I'm fairly certain it was somewhere between 150 and 200. My main is prot paladin, and Kruul is the only challenge I've attempted, so I can't really compare to other classes. Another macro to target an eye and throw a Judgment is also a good idea. I highly recommend you use focus macros for both Rebuke and HoJ, that way you don't waste time targeting them. If I was on the edge of his aura, I hit him with HoJ. On my later attempts, I only ever silenced him with Avenger's Shield if I was way out of position (chasing an eye or dropping Consecration on Velen for the adds). You just have to avoid the situation where you're sitting on the edge of the aura. It probably is a bug that stacks build that quickly, and I noticed it on a few attempts. Your question about Variss moving: yeah, that happens if you silence him with Avenger's Shield.
I always grabbed them with Consecration, though. Apparently it's super easy to get aggro on the adds when they spawn by casting a heal. You have to get them off him sooner and/or heal him back up after (either using your own Flash of Light/Word of Glory or one of the orbs). The little adds hitting him is what's likely screwing you. Your question about Velen: If Velen takes any damage from the infernals, I didn't notice it. I would use a flask, pull until the flask wore off, then leave & do something else to keep from getting too tilted. Let me know if you have any questions about any of that. I used (mostly legion) cheese gear too, BFA flasks/pots and WoD drums. Am I missing something with this mechanic? I was at 6 stacks then just jumped up to near 11 outta no where.

I had 4 stacks, was heading out after an avengers shield so he followed me a bit, I got close to the edge of his aura and my stacks spammed all the way to 15. Is he moving for anyone else, is he getting knocked around from the Infernals?Īnother issue I'm getting is when I use Avengers Shield Varris will follow me around, annoying AF, but when I'm right on the edge of his Aura of Decay I get spammed with multiple stacks - this last attempt that's what killed me. He seems to get hurt from something when he does this and dies almost instantly.
He'll move forward quite a bit into where I fight Varris. Valen moves around occasionally during my attempts. Had a few questions, wondering if this is happening to anyone else and how I might prevent it as it's really screwing me up. Been bashing my face against this fight for 3 days on my Paladin.
